360 somethink to go

December 27, 2016

So that was Christmas ?? Yep mixed with the grandkids in the UK ,tomorrow off to Germany for the new year more mixing and being stuffy old granddad ,when I try to start a conversation with the top of a head on an iPad/tablet mobile phone ,aaawwww granddad I'm busy . Lunch on Christmas Day was stressful to say the least , bloody phones going off in the background ," got to take it " ( or the world will cease ) . The best time was  mmmmmmm let me think , Dr Who or Morcambe &Wise easy M&W any day straight forward tomfoolery to make you giggle at a 30 year old tv joke . Can anyone tell me do you still do family games ,monopoly etc ,or sit and as family watch a movie ( withdrawal symptoms no Great Escape ) while eating Roses or ice cream or nippy sweety ,but as a family ,even a walk out with the dog ,NOPE . Well as stated 360 odd days to go !!!!!

Bob.    In response to your enquiry re. games. Here on the wild west coast of Cumbria we still do. It's either that or count sheep. Christmas day for me was spent at my families. A.M. few to many drinks followed by lunch. P.M. the Queen for those still awake then Trivial Pursuit which needless to say I lost in spectacular fashion, then more food & finally back home.  Christmas done & dusted for another year. Roll on New Years Eve when I can just get pleasantly tight.  Ted

So you are back on the jungle juice again eh, Bob????? I also wonder if the bottle of the hard stuff a Carb hid in the forests round Nunshigum in 1944 when they had to move out PDQ was ever found by man or beast? Alcoholic pigs, ants etc??? May the NEW Year bless you with a never ending supply of the hard stuff, my great friend.......   Tom

Yes Tom my lad is a converted " malt" drinker ,so we've tested/tasted 4 differant varieties, and as booze is fairly inexpensive here it doesn't cost the earth to have a tipple ( bottle of wine in Aldi less than €3 ) hic hic and that's the wife . All the breast mate for 2017 and to all take care 48 hours to the sun and even cheaper booze hic .

Bob, I'd think about going too if I got £248 tax free every month for MY hearing loss !! Enjoy the sunshine, we'll keep warm over here by watching the Mighty Reds march on to even more success ! John (JKW)

A bit of a hiccup by LFC against Sunderland, John, but not as bad as it could have been. However, how did they give away 2 penalties, against a team almost posted to the Div 2???? Not lack of confidence, rather a bit of over confidence but Klopp states that at least one of the 2 penalties was NOT a penalty, and I agree after watching them both. Roll on a new midfielder.....

Agreed about the hiccup Tom, it's the injuries we currently have in the squad that worries me now though - if all remained fit I'd be confident of us overhauling Chelski & winning the title but....... Here's hoping their run of good fortune comes to an end, 'cos they're not playing THAT well to justify being so far ahead - it's early days yet, in Jurgen we must trust ! John (JKW)
