Brexit & Ulster & Ireland

March 28, 2017

John you have brought up a good point ,as you know the power sharing in the North has collapsed. This is due to Adams who since Brexit is stirring the shit both sides of the "Border" ,and as you said about how honest our Irish neighbours are ( remembering our time in Fermanah) . The EU reps have been on about tariffs etc at the borders for goods also visas for entering the remaining EU for U.K. Citizens. My thoughts are what 2 sovereign countries as Ireland and the UK can have their own treaty on people movement on the isle of Ireland but entering the mainland of England,Wales and Scotland must have people control as we have now with continental Europe. As you see the nationalists in Scotland/Northern Ireland are playing the fear card about Brexit ,we all know the figures on Exports from both of both of these countries, 80% for Scotland and 65% for Ireland. They both need the remaining parts of the UK more than the United Kingdom needs them ,and with Scotland the remaining parts of the UK subsidies them to be able to have public services. As for the Republic they need us for their youngsters who can't get a job etc in their country ( last year nearly 200 nurses qualified in the Republic ,only " ONE" got a job in the health service the rest went abroad) . With their abortion laws over 5000 woman go to the UK ( mainly Liverpool/Manchester) for an abortion a year . Going back to our SNP and Sinn Fein politicians who are only interested in their agenda ,which we know from the last 100 years with the Repubic they have to have a good secure relationship with The United Kingdom or they will go bust ,even with their 12% corporation tax they rely on their agricultural trade as Ireland is still a rural based industry. As for our northern Scots their deficit is even worse than Greece and has the south subsidies or everything will collapse. The dare I say ( without being racist) is the nigger in the woodpile of the Peace process,Blair as usual caused problems ( like Iraq) that has come back to bite our bums , as you remember the terrorists got off long sentences and British soldiers are being hounded into courts ( as I post ) ,the Catholic based Sinn Fein will in the end get a majority over the Prods , but living in the Republic as I do most of the people don't give 2 monkeys about the North . What was that saying " we are dammed if we do and dammed if we don't " ,easy answer go back to the pre 1949 ( yes 1949 ) agreement and stop Irish citizens from unfettered access to mainland UK as they have now ,yes let them move around the island of Ireland but restriction on entering Britain. After all if the then strongest military power in the world couldn't defeat Britain what's the Paddies and Jocks going to do ,they need Westminster to keep afloat ( but don't quote me ) . There is a thought if England/Wales had a referendum on both Scotland and Northern Ireland being members of the United Kingdom what would be the result?????????????

Bob, you should not stir the ess aitch one tee at this time, they all might want to stay if you do, cos they will think we have a fiendish plan up our sleeves to say bye bye to them and build a big trap for them if they try to enter free Britain!!!  Only a suggestion, but cows MIGHT fly.......... and take the relatives with them.......OR maybe you are right, and you may get your wish......Good hunting,  Tom
