Brexit,2 days to ?????

October 13, 2020

October 15th 2020, then January 1st 2021 , ???? So what type of BREXIT will the UK ( including Scotland or Northern Ireland) have . Questions like a border in the Irish Sea ,or the fishing waters around this island, then there’s these illegals coming from France do we send them back straight away, let alone Covid-19. Yes the next few days and months the POLITICIANS have got to get right on the money ,oooops money does the EU expect the UK to still keep funding them ?? The arguments are going to come thick and fast from the REMOANERS ( aka Brussels Broadcasting Corporation. SNP) just taking one of the above subjects FISHING. Back when I was a kid and a young Squady if you went to starting from the southern ports of Plymouth,Falmouth,Dover,Ramsgate, then Grimsby,Immingham,Hull,Or Fleetwood ,Aberdeen etc etc you’d find hundreds of British fishing boats ,little and large ( sorry for the pun) . Thus employing thousands of BRITISH fishermen for hundreds of years, what have you got since JohnMajor/Tony Blair gave it away ( without a vote) NOTHING as they can’t compete with the French super trawlers who don’t follow the QUOTA rules ,now you could say I am impartial maybe your right BUT over the Royal Navy kept them WATERS FREE of foreigners for the British people. Now BORIS has got to get it back or be a laughing stock or just a self serving POLITICIAN . The other problems they will sort themselves out as we know the EU NEEDS the BRITISH market/ people more than we need THEM .

Bob, no-one could ever accuse you of being ‘impartial’ perish the very thought. Apart from the somewhat tortured syntax I concur with your views.....I think! Well most of them. Stay safe.

Speaking of politicians, AT LAST Keir Starmer has come out with an alternative idea to the Government's 3 Tier proposals. Instead of acting like a modern day Kinnock & just moaning about Boris and Co, he at last has acted like a real Opposition Leader IMO, suggesting quite sensible ideas to help bring this damned virus under control. I can't say I like Starmer, but in my humble opinion, Boris has lost the credibility he once enjoyed by his mis handling of the Covid situation - I also now believe that the Tories are still very much London / The South centred, more interested in protecting their "interests" down there than the more "common" working mans north of  Watford. I feel all the goodwill towards the Tory Party generated in the North of England post Corbin has evaporated - Boris will never get that level support again. Starmer will no doubt take full advantage of things now, and if he continues LEADING then that huge majority the Government enjoys will soon be lost in the next GE, & it will be their own fault. Mick back in 1974 I voted for the COMMON MARKET,good idea at the time . Then over the years it turned into  the European Union without a vote from the people ,John Major and Tony Blair gave away our sovereignty to non elected officials in Brussels. That means your country is ruled yes ruled by some idiots (oops) sorry failed politicians from European countries who are on a power trip at our expense ( example Ireland has been a member getting billions, but only this year are they paying any dues to the EU ) that’s one of reasons I’m  wanting the United Kingdom to free of it (aka) EU . So Mick am I a WE or a THEM
