Free School Meals

April 7, 2017

I see Corbyn has stated if they get into Government (Hah!), Labour will give free meals to ALL primary school kids, funded by putting VAT onto private school fees. He says all kids are entitled to decent food, which helps their concentration levels etc - agreed, but surely that's the PARENTS responsibility, not the State's ? I accept in some cases free meals are necessary, and should continue, but to feed every primary school child 5 days a week for free is sheer bonkers and totally unnecessary IMO. Obviously Corbyn has pitched this as his vote winner (hah, again !), knowing he won't lose any potential votes from those who send their kids to private schools, but might get the sympathy vote from the rest of the populations parents. I've heard some mothers state "I can't afford to feed my kids", but on looking closer, many of  these same mothers have top of the range smart phones, expensive tattoos, highly manicured finger nails, studs & ear rings protruding all over their faces / body, and the inevitable cigarette packet on the nearby table - can't afford to feed the kids ? I wonder why !?!

None of it matters. He knows he can promise the earth. He will never have to make good his promises because he will never be PM. Labour will be in the political wilderness until the poisoned triumvirate of Corbyn, McDonnel and Abbot are consigned to the political dung heap.

This subject of feeding primary kids by the state ,there's a couple of documentaries on people on benefits some getting up to £50 a year from the state were they're not even paying the rent to their property, but drawing rent allowances. They come a cross as the chosen few ," it's my right to have all this money cos I've kids" Corbyn is playing to them hoping they will vote Labour. Trouble with that is they are phelps who don't vote just stick their hands out ,David is right about the present leaders of Labour no one will vote Labour over the age of 20 ( and that's being generous)
