It is a slow day in a little Greek village.Times are tough everyone is in debt and lives on credit. A rich German stops at the local hotel, slaps 100 Euos on the counter demanding keys to all rooms to check if one is suitable for him. The owner gave him all keys. He grabs the 100 euros and runs next door to pay his debt to the butcher who takes the money and pays his feed supplier, he takes the 100 euros and runs to pay his drinks bill at the taverna. The publican slides the money down the bar to the local prostitute who has been n hard times and has had to offer him "services" on credit.

The prostitute rushes to the hotel to pay for the room she uses for "business"

The hotelier places the 100 Euros back on the counter from where the rich German takes it back saying no rooms are suitable.

No one produced anything

No one earned anything

no one consumed anything

However the whole village is now out of debt and looking to the future with more optimism, and thats hoe the Greek bailout package works!!!!!!!!!

Athens international airport customs check. Woman arrives at desk. Hands in passport. Greek customs officer opens passport looks at photo, flicks through the pages, looks back at woman. "How long do you intend to stay here this time?" "A few hours, no more than I have to", she says. "Business or pleasure?" "Business", she responds. "Occupation?" "No not this time just visiting" "Well welcome to Greece Frau Merkel"

Thought I ask the question of you kind gentlemen .......What is going to be the outcome of the Greek new election,as they got the financial backing from the Germans ,well for time being. When all things are equal the Greek government kicked the can down the road, yes they have passed various laws etc keeping the ECB happy but as the old saying goes "let's see if it is going to work"....and who is going to enforce what they have agreed to.My personal opinion for what it's worth is this is going to drag on for years till they get most of the debts written off????????????????? But I could be right !!!!!!!! And I'm not going to hold my breath (should say willy as it sounds better)
