It was for football lovers, especially those of Liverpool Football Club - after thrashing Man City 3-0 last Wednesday, Jurgen Klopp our fantastic manager, when asked what he thought of the teams performance just flashed his gnashers in that big smile of his and said just one word --"BOOM" !! It went viral, the clip being repeated over & over - BOOM BOOM ! I can see that lovers of the hockey ball (Dave F) or that funny oval shaped thingy (also Dave F), or God forbid, Evertonians might not have appreciated or understood, but hopefully all is now crystal clear !! Thanks for that John, all is now clear albeit  in the interim I have been provided with an email explanation of BOOM, via  the Australian chum of a member of this site, that had a slightly different context and background which I must say I found hilarious and very clever. D

Re David's msg above, the 3DG members may remember Fred Evans, who was in Recce Tp with me in the 60's, who is now in Australia, who sent me another interpretation of John's "Boom" message. An email to me will provide Fred's other definition of "BOOM". As David says, it is quite humorous.....

WOW!!!! Msg for JKW, Another case of "BOOM BOOM" tonight John, they played the enemy off the park, and into their trenches!!!! One goal for their next meeting in Europe will leave the enemy needing a cricket score "almost". That ref lived up to his reputation tho, it is a wonder he did not book the tea lady in the main stand!! If LFC hold their nerve, next game v MU in Europe, and do not try to raise the ramparts, they could run riot......Just like old times! Fellani should have been sent off for his fouls on several LFC players, the Evertonian outcast.

I'd forgotten to mention, the headline to my initial "post" ("I Luuuv It !!") was an indirect reference to one of LFC's "old boys", Kevin Keegan, who famously uttered those words very emotionally  during a press conference when he was Newcastle manager & facing Fergie's team in the next match - "I'd love to beat them" he said, "I'd luuuv it if we do" !  Unfortunately, despite the curly one's utterances in response to Fergie's mind games, Newcastle lost the match - mind you, for Newcastle, some things never change (apart from their managers, !). What can I say after last nights demolition of ManUre ? Just one word, "BOOM" !! John (JKW)
