Gary, as you say, a very bad bit of news, Ken was always one of those who seemed to be able to deal with all and any situation, wherever he was, a great Carb indeed. He never seemed to lose control, always looked calm and prepared for anything, an asset not all of us could emulate in a critical situation. May he now rest in peace, duty done, much regarded by all Carbs I should think. Give his family my condolences please, Tom

I knew Ken briefly but I remember him as a quiet, very measured man who was very intelligent and a very fair minded SNCO. My condolences to his family, RIP Ken.

I never had the pleasure of working with Ken as he was in another Sqn but when I was in MT and visited his troop he was always a gentleman to me . R I P Ken

So sorry to hear of Ken's passing. I got to know him well when he was Tp Sgt of 3 ( Conq ) Tp 'B' Sqn in Detmold and I was the Tp fitter. He and I spent many a late night working together to keep his tanks on the road, sharing many a brew and quite a few beers. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and as I spent most of my time on his tanks, his help went a long way to making me feel part of the troop. He was a brilliant Troop sergeant.Sincere condolences to his family. R I P Ken.
