Freddie, bought the book, and have read it. It certainly tells it like it was at the time Carbs were in India, and the horrors the married families of Carbs and all other UK troops/families suffered. The thing I enjoyed most was reading the reports and comments of the Carb contributors, they were very well written, contrary to the way people of the time seem to think they were, almost uneducated, BUT they were the Cavalry..... An inspiring book in many ways. Tom
