Here on the last day in July 2015 ,at 8am I'm really considering whether to put the heating on,well at least light the stove in the kitchen, where are those sunny days of our youth, and don't tell me global warming. The news channels are running with migrants and lion killing dentists oh and Mr Cameron's pledge to sort it out ,the migrants,French etc,so nothing has changed. The idea that British troops are going to stationed in /on the channel ports in France is laughable,I relise the French are doing nowt but squaddies on French soil no no no the last time they were there they kicked the kraits out and as the Germans and French are in bed together over the euro?.Isee UKIP want to be in the discussions on Britains renegotiating Europe deal or whatever ,I suppose they think the PM won't have any back bone a make the case for being in the EU.The migrants are helping the UKIP case ,why the UK ,they are supposed to apply for asylum in the first country of entrance not after traveling through most of Europe and over/under the Channel, the old saying "we're full ,so fuck off" comes to mind! Now I've had a moan you all have great weekend, now where are those matches.

Bob, Which Matches? - soccer, cricket or boxes thereof?? Lets have a bit of clarity my lad.... Ho Ho Ho ! As for these refugees, when are these EU bosses going to do what they should have done in the first place? As David and you both say, refugees MUST apply for asylum in the first country they plant their feet on, and not their "Country of Choice", as they seem to think. If the French put up electric fences around the Tunnel, and the rest of the port, then even the refugees would not try to climb over or under it..., especially if there were 10 deep lines of individual fences each independent of the others for their power supply, 40 yards apart, then these idiots could never get through. especially if there were signs in between warning of minefields. Lets go the whole hog, we do not want or need these morons, despite the fact that the do gooders of this world think we are being disgraceful. They would not have thought it disgraceful when we fought to keep the Germans and the Japs out in the 1940's would they???

Here's the reality of the situation,on Facebook this morning was a picture of a little black kid (possibly 18months)playing in the dirt, nearby was a fecking big vulcher, eyeing the kid.The caption was "we are more interested in dead lion/animals than people ".Now as person who over 4 decades has had standing orders and on special occasions (band aid etc) given money to charities for the 3rd World, I find that a load of crap. The reasons are quite simple in sub Saharan Africa the governments are so Corrupt it's unbelievable, for example I was in a town Nanukie in The highlands of Kenya I was the base for some my soldiers up Mt Kenya ,so I went to get supplies (chocolate fags etc) on one the shelves there was a 50 kilo bag of maze, which was for sale at a couple of shillings (Kenya money) ,so what you say BUT here's the crunch ,marked on the bag was in red white and blue ,Food Aid From the People of the United States of America.Yes food given freely or should I say donated by the yanks being sold ,the shopkeeper would have paid for it too. The head guys in Nairobi making a killing at the wrests expense ,now going back to the kids picture ,were where the kids parents eeerrrrmmm good question I know try Calais or any other Europeen country ,using the aid monies to get "a better life" . Now what the hell is a few dogs etc going to do to stop the influx of migrants ,even on the news last night they showed a video of a guy on the roof of a truck at Folkestone coming off the train, yes folks the mark one eyeball works every time, and if they put enough there it could work, but don't quote me.We have to be thick skinned and put them back home A.S.A.P otherwise they'll breed and their human rights will be harmed. Now about the MPs who are upset about Cameron's description of the Migrants,I thought their (MPs) job was to represent, support and look after the welfare of the British voter not a load illegal migrants!!! .Now I've had my moan and still looking for my (Bryant&Mays)matches ,first day of August is still fecking COLD .byeee

I think that the latest trick of these so called "refugees"  still on the continonk have shot themselves in the foot properly this time, big time. Reports now state that the parents of very young refugee kids have dumped them on us the tax payers, and left them. Therefore these "refugees" should now all be rounded up without any delay, both those who have sneaked into UK already and all the so called refugees still sur le continonk have gone beyond civility by dumping their kids and disappearing either already in UK or on the continent. They are not parents they are beyond any sympathy they may have been shown during the past months/years of sneaking in the back door because they are too lazy to sort out their lives in the country where they were born.  Abandoning their own children is one of the worst crimes we could imagine. Round the lot up ASAP and ship them back to their country of origin. It is NOT impossible, and is now imperative. They do not deserve ANY sympathy, and we should ignore the costs involved, just get them out of Europe back to the regions they came from. A few months in a shanty town they would have to build on some deserted and desolate island would show them they are better off where they first came from. Deserting their kids is a wicked crime, full stop. The adults deserve NO sympathy from anyone or anywhere in the civilised world we have here. Cameron should do this immediately, but will twitter on for weeks, months, years, since he can NOT make decisions full stop, the loon. Reminds me of some of the ruperts I came across many years ago. All wind, wee and zero common sense. No names, no pack drill....... Just over educated, but not in real life situations...

Sunday,Bloody Sunday!!waiting to see what the politicians have to say on the Andrew Marr show ? Starting to count the days till the next load of blather comes out of the mouth of the PM,will he or won't he put troops into the channel ports ?here the latest problem for him and the HomeSec ,the company (mates of the Tories) haven't enough Dogs!to put on the job of sniffing migrants or whatever.Oh I see the French think this problem with migrants is OUR (Britain)fault,so the next time their being/been over run by dictators we'll say it their fault and were not going to the party ..........

Bob, Of course it is our problem, we are always the instigators of all sorts of bother and disaster processes, while all our lily livered ruling compatriots (???) are whiter than white genuine protectors of the mistreated and put upon, non related to Europe sufferers. BULL SHxx. I wonder how long Cameron takes to decide whether to get out of bed next week of in 3 months time. He is a no brainer, scared of his own shadow, and has no idea what we, the general public of this sceptered isle have to accept in our daliy lives. He is a typical product of the "upper classes" of our country. We do not deserve such idiots to be in control of us, it is they who should disappear and leave us to sort it out, but we will never get the chance. He and his side kicks are well and truly established in a world we do not know or understand, but know it is not what we want, now or in the future. But what do we have to replace them?? Not more of the same... PLEASE. I only wish somebody would tell him to read this website, then he may appreciate what real people, in real life situations, have to put up with...

You know Tom I hate to agree with you about future politicians ,looking at Labour they going backwards to the whatever left ,is it far ,Trotsky ,Lenin as they will never get into power with what they've got, where is a Winston   when you need one??? The trouble is if they get it wrong I doubt if they'd sort out without the UK splitting.

Bob, I agree! The problem we have in UK is that the leaders do not talk to us mere mortals, so they do not know what we think of the problems this country faces - they seem totally remote from us. We can talk to and with our local MP. but he/she does not listen, ask what our worries are, sprouts the Party line, and believes  we are from a remote and different world, where nobody understands "polytix", unlike them! The situation can only get worse, since those in power do not listen to we who will suffer from their political ideals, far from the wishes of the majority of the population. What can we do?? Not a lot, since no matter which party we vote for in local and national elections, they all act and behave in one way, which is " do not listen to the population, they have no experience of political life and are therefore   none of "our" concern." Until they realise that when they behave the way they do, not only do they alienate everyone, they prove they are from a different world than reality. Too much money, too much power, too little knowledge of how the majority think, in essence, our leaders are Brain Dead. God help us if we ever have to go to war again in a big confrontation with a big enemy power. When is the next flight to Mars?? For me, not them!!! But if I did go, I would miss all this chat!!

Tom talking of mere mortals ,my sat broadband was playing up this morning,we have a bank holiday here in Ireland mmmmmm most probably too many people using it,used my phone straight on so tried the iPad and here we go. As you know Ireland and few other countries in the euro zone lost their way with very low interest rates,to put it in layman terms they fucked up,Greece in particular. So after the bubble had burst in Ireland they found they were spending 50/55 billion but only had 32 billion coming in plus the banks had to helped, 1 was nationalised,1 closed owing around 80 billion And last but not least the Bank of Ireland needed 30 billion. The government did a blanket guarantee for all the banks, then when the true numbers came out ,the shit hit the fan,the numbers and problems just got bigger and bigger, then a new government came in with austerity big time ,where I live we had mass migration, now if you find anyone under the age of 30 let alone 40 ,thus bringing down unemployment to only 12% .The tax hikes are ridiculous ,for example if I want to pay for my bins to be emptied it will cost 384euro a year and 32 a month on top. To have water and sewage prices of 900/1000 euro for the average family (whatever that is) my bill will be half as I have a septic tank.(no sewage). There is another problem ,during the "Celtic Tiger"years they allowed landlords to have upwards only rents,so there are a lot of empty shops/houses dotted throughout the towns in rural Ireland, the exact term is "ghost estates ". But like all good politicians they're pensions are obscene compared to us mere mortals,in fact the UK guys are on pennies in comparison....an example the ex PM (only in job 2 years) is on 200 k a year ,the mess that they made beggars belief, had my moan ! Going to feed the chickens byeee

Good grief, Bob, I did not know things were that desperate in the Republic! My advice to you is to fly to Paris, train to Calais, cut a hole in the Tunnel fencing, dive into the back of a lorry getting loaded on said train to UK, then when you get out at Dover, approach a copper and in your best African accent, demand asylum. If it works for them they can not stop YOU getting in...... Another ticket for me to be transported to Mars.....and by the way, how do we on Earth know what colour Martians are????? Green? Blue? Red? Black and White stripes? I was going to say Orange, but it may upset some of your neighbours.....

No way , we have just have had kafuffel over the County Council planting bushes which camouflage a grave of one the IRA killed in the civil war (1922). The protests are that you can't see the grave site fully,so mention of the colour Orange would start it all over again. Is it my imagination or is it getting colder ,this tree hungers "global warming " does not ring a bell with me. Tom can I ask who going to pay for this rail journey you want for France,? Being a pensioner I can't afford the tickets, talk about getting people out of the car the railfare is horrendous, where's my roller skates.Nothing out the ordinary to talk about so I'm off to do my charity work in Mitchelstown........byeee

Bob, A bit different I know, but a pal of mine who I served with in HQRAC 3 Div in the early days, called Bernie Macdonald, ex 10H (as it was in those days) has got me worried - he moved with family to the republic, from Bidston, on the Wirral, but I have not heard from him for ages, when he had to dig trenches for his water/ sewage/gas/ eleccy etc, for several hundred yards (metres to me mean leccy, water/gas etc readings), ( meters!!) so have you heard anything about a scouse being buried alive in his new trench??? It WAS some years ago, but Bidston brings out the toughness of their surroundings, so he could have survived for some time!! He was somewhere inland from the west coast..... And Benteke scored A GOAL for LFC in a friendly, so B Rodgers Esq now says he is the best thing since sliced bread, which  means kiss of death "no success" again this coming season, will he never learn??.....
