Optimism v Pessimism

November 28, 2016

I've read your post David a couple of times now and I'm not sure what camp I'm in ,is everything half full or empty ??? A lot of the problems are man/politician made , thinking that big business can run the jails for one so outsource it then it one less thing the public can blame them for when it goes tits up as now , me they should never got rid of the death penalty ,this would empty a lot of jails .( keeping the cost down) NHS ,well there was a chance a few years back for I.D. Cards which never came to fruition ,no card no medical treatment ,you have to pay at point of service as most of the world ,no medical tourists or illegal users and no card no BENEFITS .The military ,you'll notice that the number of politicians who have served in the H.M.Forces you can count on one hand , we do have NO support from the mamby pamby liberal left but love the FREEDOM the previous sacrifice of men/woman in the Armed Forces has given them . The U.K. has now grown to the largest population in my life time ,I won't quote numbers but we could afford to reinstate a form of National Service ,as Germany had when we had the USSR threat , either in uniform or public service for the under 25's ,that way you can sort the unemployment of youth ,the young men from Syria wouldn't want to be conscripted so would give the UK a wide berth . Brexit the EU is terrified that once the UK has gone other countries will join so the powers that be in Brussels are frightened for their very highly paid jobs ,it will happen and the U.K. will as always get on with being the best  little country DEFINATE always doing things above its weight . Now does that make me an optimist ????????

Optimism v Pessimism

At the moment, I doubt if the UK amed forces are strong enough to stand up and defend a small village in this country from any tinpot little republic with more than a whimper before surrendering to the mob, a sad reflection on how our forebears in UK have safely kept kept this country safe form destruction for several thousands of years. This is NO criticism of our Armed Forces, but of the governing body who are supposed to defend us all from the loons within our "leadership group" aka "whichever government we have in power" since they are all off track compared to the rest of us who vote but cannot dictate. Special note for JKW, 2 goals to nil tonight, and a special young player aged 17 who showed the others how to score. A lot of the rest of the team seemed to have lost the plot, since they passed the ball more times to the opposition than they did to their team mates. That young man will be a shining light in "how to do it" and he will cherish his goal, the winner, in his first senior match, at Anfield,  and at the KOP end of the ground. Bloody priceless for that young man!!! HE will never walk alone.....

Optimism v Pessimism

Can you remember before 23rd June all Osbourne was telling the country that if we voted "Out" the world would end for the UK , all sort of crap about how we would be worse off . So here we are nearly 6 months down the road ,I keep pinching myself to see that I'm still alive  waiting for all these harbinger of doom to inform me that I was going to have to live in a tent ,not be able to afford food for my family ,not put diesel in my car . Then I'm watching the Murdoch tv news station tell me that the trade between the world and the U.K is reducing the deficit by 4% in the UK favour , yes it might be cause the pound is more competitive and goods are cheaper to Johny Foreiner ,or have we new trade deals outside of the EU ,now Germany are reported to be heavily committed to the euro zone ,interesting enough to make you think if the Euro zone went tits up ,all answers to the Bundestag Berlin .As we know except for the Syrian migrants in Germany every other person on the move in Europe is coming live, work in the UK now that's not because they fear for their future here but then it could be the benefits ???????

You got it right there Bob, they are seeking an easy life in this country. But newspapers today suggest that many of the Muslim immigrants from the middle east now resident in this country are complaining that too many of these new Muslim immigrants are causing the long settled Muslims problems, by being over many, over bolshy, and over here!!! That is a sad reflection of allowing, or turning a blind eye, on the numbers of them now in this country. We should now stop all of those waiting  (in France and the rest of the EU) to invade UK in their millions, but temptation for an easy life will keep them coming.  To save us Brits when the islands of UK start sinking under the weight of them coming into UK, we should invest in lifeboats or lifejackets for all UK citizens right now.
