Political correctness, should we dump it ????

August 13, 2017

Im going to say " Gollywog" ,how about " Paki" , am I being a racist,no I'll tell you why . The "G" was the emblem of a jam company when I was a kid ,now not used but fondly remembered . The "P " word is an abbreviation of Patrick,we have Patsy,Pat,Paddy to name a few used in Ireland. Why the history lesson ,it seems the British police forces ( the protectors of law and order) have got this thing about arresting Asian gangs who prey on young girls ( mostly white and their nickname is " milk bottles " ) using them for sexual abuse etc. So here we have the Greater Manchester police ( Rochdale/Heywood) informed time and time again ,who sat on their hands for at least 5/6 years doing nothing cause of political correctness, blaming the Pakistan men for abusing girls . The outcome,Google it ,its feckin sickening,I hope the bastards rot in jail or are exported back to their " mother country " . Then we have the same in Newcastle area ,and from what some of the so called " exsperts " on this Asian behaviour,It's the tip of the iceberg, !!!!! happening all over we're the Muslim youngish men think they can get away with abusing local white girls for their pleasure, not racism,it's a fact . Look what they do to their own children who won't marry a cousin ( who is 30 odd years older) what's that called mmmmmm oh yep " Feckin Honour Killings" , reality is to the Asian man woman are just there to be used and discarded. Let's call it as we see it ,political correctness feck off back to Asia

An American woman, Florence Kate Upton, coined the term Golliwog in 1895 when she first used the name for  a central character in her books. It wasn't until 1910 that  Robertsons "hi-jacked" the name and the image for its jam. The term never had any racial connotations until the Second World War when people shortened the word to 'Wog' a perjorative for anyone of swarthy colour but notably of Arab descent. 'Wily Oriental Gentleman' or 'Western Oriental Gentleman' were some of the (false) explanations given to the term. In the 6Os it started to become known as a racist term and in 2002 Robertsons felt forced to discard the image altogether. Paki is also a pejorative and is rarely used as anything other than a racially derogatory  term these days. The term was originally just a shortened form of Pakistani but was hi-jacked by racists and then banned. Most Pakistanis find it very offensive. It isn't a derivative of Patrick. The whole issue of political correctness has become ridiculously silly and far too time consuming. The PC brigade are always out in force claiming anything remotely connected to race, colour or creed is wrong. Considered and balanced views on immigration are labelled as racist as are any criticisms of people who happen to be black. The Muslim gangs of marauding child sex abusers certainly did manage to thrive and multiply due to a fear of police and social care workers being labelled racist. This is now finally acknowledged and is a prime example of political correctness gone wrong. I don't believe we should label these gangs as Asian though and certainly not Pakistani. They are MUSLIM gangs, the single common thread is their religion. The gangs comprise Indian, Pakistani, Turkish, Middle Eastern and others who are ALL Muslim. These gangs don't believe women per se are there to be used and discarded, only WHITE WOMEN, who they believe are all whores and degenerate. They would never treat their own women in that way. But for all that we need to remember these gangs are not representative of their entire communities or religion no more than white men who abuse children are representative of us. It is just a sad and damning fact that political correctness allowed these foul, sickos to proliferate and operate for so long. Finally, Bob, your point about these paedophiles going back to Asia is sadly invalid. These sick child abusers are almost exclusively British Muslims, people born and bred here people who are mostly second and third generation British Asians, THIS is their home. So; do I think PC has gone to far? Absolutely. Do I think the Muslim child abuse gangs thrived because of PC? Absolutely. Am I sick of it all? Absolutely. BUT: we still need to keep a balanced outlook on it. Watching the white supremacists riots in the US, fuelled no doubt by much of Trump's rhetoric, reinforces the need to keep matters in perspective.  Political correctness needs to be tempered with a good dose of common sense but at the same time we need to recognise racism and racially derogatory terms are offensive and fuel the radical elements in our country.

I used to love Alf Garnett in "Till Death Do Us Part" - his role as a staunch bigot (anti Irish, anti Catholic, anti Semitic, racist etc) was so comically prejudiced it actually reduced a lot of prejudice, although the PC brigade got it taken off our screens eventually. The fact I thoroughly enjoyed the show, does that make me a racist ? Certainly not - I judge a person by their character, behaviour and attitude, not the colour of his / her skin or religion. At this moment in time Muslims are doing their faith no good at all, & as has been rightly pointed out, it's not ALL Muslims involved but far too many are, and it's time that action within their own ranks was taken to root out the evil within, at least until political correctness is stopped from preventing law & order & other agencies from doing their job. Failure of the Muslim community to act only fuels the prejudice against themselves - scenes like the white supremacist riots in the USA will happen here if the Muslims don't accept responsibility for naming & shaming the disgusting sexual predators, and terrorists, within their close knit communities. while  I concur with most of the above statements, I firmly believe that the Imam,s  know what is going on in their mosques, they all have their separate conclaves within the mosque, and the buck should stop at the head man, alas they all read the same book, It reminds me of a red hot pursuit after being petrol bombed in Newry, we chased these guys into the churchyard, found the stock of petrol bombs in a little walled space and went to enter the church only to be refused entry by the priest, saying I do not believe  that British Army would think that my flock would stoop so low as to throw petrol bombs at them, there are no terrorists in my church. When shown his flocks little store, he inferred that we must have planted it, 12 bottles in a pop case. They know what is going on, just like the Germans round the concentration camps knew. There are too many lilywhites in the UK it time to call a spade a spade and stop all the prevaricating, hurt one of mine and I will seriously hurt you.

It isn't just the Imams  Bob, the problem is much more deeply rooted than that. Example. Some time ago Sarah Champion, MP for Rotherham and Shadow Secretary for Equality and Women, wrote an article in The Sun saying British Pakistani men groomed, raped and exploited vulnerable young white girls. Remember; one large notorious gang operated in Ms Champions own constituency. Anyway;  Corbyn has just made her resign from the Shadow Front Bench over the article and she has apologised for writing it. What chance have we got of eradicating racially motivated crimes, or marauding gangs of pardophiles, when we are not allowed to speak the truth when it involves Asians raping and abusing white girls. Yes the Imams and the Muslim communities have to take greater responsibility for the actions of those amongst  them who commit these despicable crimes but how hypocritical is it when our own political leaders prevent the truth being spoken because it is uncomfortable to listen to. Corbyn epitomises the very ideology that allowed these gangs to proliferate in the first place!!!
