The Blair saga

June 30, 2015

Charlie, the Blairs are both the finest example of the "self, self, self" brigade we will ever see! HE told the biggest lies ever uttered by any politician to line his own nest, and keep the truth from ever coming out. And she naturally jumped on the bandwagon, How anyone can allow this pair to continue grasping ever more cash, from  mainly dubious sources, without being charged by our courts for the most serious of crimes against the UK and  our allies in the invasion of Iraq. It has all come to roost for us, the common people, who will have to carry the can for Blair and his cronies declaring an illegal war against a country which could have been controlled by the UN without the enormous loss of life and its consequential violence still being carried out in the middle east. God only knows how Blair can sleep at night, he led this country into a war which should never have happened, since Saddam could have been controlled without a full scale war. And mainly by Iraq's neighbours. I just hope he gets his just rewards if there is such a place as hell after death, he should suffer throughout eternity.

Charlie, Tom, I fully concur with your posts. Some years ago when I was working in the NHS I was sent to London for several seminars and meetings on the, then impending, introduction of the HRA and its implications for health.  Basically, banks of barristers and lawyers were making a killing out of telling us how the Act would mean we had to change our working practices et al. I vividly remember one barrister telling us, smirking, tongue in cheek, that none of us should leave the seminar making ANY connection between Blair as PM introducing the Act at this time and Cherie Blair QC then working as the foremost  legal proponent of suing for transgressions of human rights!! I have nothing against people making money, nothing at all, we need entrepeneurs and rich people to provide employment for others. It's the champagne socialists and the people who use their erstwhile high public offices to enrich themselves whilst fawning to foreign leaders who are despots who anger me. Blair has caused as much unrest as the "Middle East peace Envoy" as any foreign despot did, he made millions on the side doing so. Blair aside, his wife would squeeze money or a freebie out a beggar if she could. This couple represent everything that is wrong with socialism and its ideology in my opinion. Socialists are just watered down communists and THEY all turn into money grabbing, backstabbing treacherous megalomaniacs when they accede to power. Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Pol Pot, Kim Sung (or whatever the fat, murdering North Korean leader is called) et al at one end of the scale, the likes of the Blairs, Prescott et al at the other end!! Crass analogy I know but I REALLY dislike them!!
