Tv debate on Brexit

me again ,now that we've had both main contagious so called leaders of In/Out referendum closely question on reason for their stance on the EU ,who got his subject over to the a) audience  b) the TVs viewers  the best in your eyes ???? The reason I called them contagious is after the result there is to be a re-hash of the Tory party and maybe the leader of the country , after all no sitting prime minister likes to be laughed at on live tv . One thing I have noticed that the news of migration seems to have slipped off the radar on the tv news channels ,so the migrants have decided to stop coming cos the UK is having a vote ,or the possiblilty the government are leaning on them ,no couldn't be could it ?? them not wanting more bad press. The idea of an Aussy way of controls seemed to have touched a raw nerve with our EU friends , whatever way the UK goes it's for our people to decide not some failed bankers doing the gloom and doom again ....Cameron I think might start filling in his CV after his failure on live tv or am I mistaken ????????????

He is a prize example of the over rich, over educated (????) people who live in a different planet most of the time (About 99.999 percent of the time.) Falling on swords time is rapidly approaching!! And it will not include any of the normal population, we have more sense than to be actively considering ourselves to be daft enough to think WE are like our upper crust morons, but nought will change there.... HM should send them all to the Tower ( London, not Blackpool!!!) At least we will not have Frau Merkel much longer, then sanity can return to UK. Or will we????? And if we do vote to leave, WHO can then lead the country, without throwing rattles et al from prams?

This WASN'T on TV - maybe it should have been !

Nice way of explaining the bureaucracy that the EU is:
If you don’t understand what all the fuss is about. Here is the EU put simply.
A son goes to his Dad having saved up some money from his weekend job.
Son “ Dad I’ve saved up £350 pounds to buy the new laptop I need for my college course”
Dad “Well done son, give the money to me and I’ll help you”
Son “Ok now what?”
Dad “I will allow you £185 pounds back less my handling fee of £5 so £180 which you may only spend on a new phone”
Son “But I need a laptop!”
Dad “No, we’ve decided you can only buy a phone and you may only buy a phone from Germany and it must be pink. You must also source the phone within 2 days otherwise I will not release the money”
Son “But it’s my money!”
Dad “I’m afraid you are a member of this family and you must contribute to everyone else’s needs. I will decide how the money is spent”
Son “So what happens to the £165?”
Dad “Well your sister needs a new dress”
Son “She has already had many new dresses”
Dad “We’ve put it to the vote and I’m afraid you’re outvoted”
Son “But I need a laptop to continue my course!”
Dad “My decision is final”
Son “But that’s not fair, will I ever have a say in how my money is spent”
Dad “No, and by the way we’ve got a couple more people moving into your room and you’ll have to pay for their keep”
Son “Well I’m leaving then”
Dad “Don’t be like that lad, we need your money. And if you leave you won’t be able to buy a pink phone from Germany you’ll have to buy one here instead”
Son “I NEED A LAPTOP!”

Yes John can I have a laptop as I've got the pink VW , no seriously now what is coming from the elite "Don't rock the boat,as we are very happy with the lives we live" .But the majority are just keeping their head above water while baling the rest of the EU out of bankrupt euro zone ,and the future doesn't give our youth any hope under the present system ,there I go preaching to the converted

JKW. Why have you not put this on both the Brexit side and the Remain side sites??? We need this positive sort of response to the present stalemate??? Remain groups will read it, then go ballistic, then quiet, then screaming mad, then will  realise THEY are being misled, then do a Lemmings act in the Alps asap, then we will be back in power cos lemmings drop readily, but can not fly.... Ergo SNAFFU, sit normal, back to individual countries once more??? As the Lance comical in Dads Army always says " DON'T PANIC!!!"...... The REMAIN gang can now be heard in Euroland all singing their anthem " Off to see the wizard", cos that is their death song..... Ho Ho !!!

Tom, I didn't know we had a "Remain" side site !!! Apart from my son in law (who works for a German firm) I don't know anyone who wants to remain "IN" - everyone else, like me, wants "OUT" asap ! John (JKW)

There's a rumour going round that the Director General or whatever of the CBI or such organisation is urging members to give the staff an afternoon off so they can "vote" on the 23rd .......could this be seen as a bribe for the so called "young voters" . This has I believe has come about cos us older persons are repeatedly telling the "polls "  that we want "out" . You now see that all this "gloom and doom" is a pack of lies ,cos if it wasn't the electorate would lining up now to "vote" .....here's a question for you all ( tongue in cheek) what's the top age ie 65/70 that they can recall ex soldiers to the colours , well Cameron did say a war was coming ??????????

I do not know what all the excitement is about, cos in certain mutterings from certain seats of power in Frau Merkelslande where they seem to know that we must serve a prison sentence of several years before we can (assuming UK votes OUT) to actually LEAVE the EU, so our suffering goes on. I always thought that when a vote for of against anything, it would be effective immediately. But Euroland does not, and never will, work this way, so we are punished again for voting to leave. Who wrote this stupid bit of EU nonsense?? All other votes results are activated immediately. BUT not in cloud Merkelslande.... I thought it was too good to be true  in the first place. Well and truly screwed at every turn. I will be over 200 years old before we MAY be able to leave all this nonsense behind us.....Doubt it not, Merkel will not be satisfied until we in UK are skint, homeless and OVERRUN by everybody from Africa, Eastern Europe, Mars, the Moon and nearly all the planets in our universe. And NOW, I read that the EU will not release us ever, since a little matter of a secretive law in EU land says they are never going to let us go. Hello, another World War, No 3, because the small print tells us they (EU) do not in fact have to. It is in their rule book.......Funny how everyone missed that bit when these loons started the EU in the first place..... Back on your heads lads, no escape after all.

Slight distraction from the original discussion topic but the latest edict from the EU judges is surely explicitly designed to ensure we leave the EU. They have ruled that is is illegal to detain illegal (bit of a contradiction in terms there) immigrants trying to enter an EU country on a false passport. France did it and was taken to task for doing so. The ruling states such people have to be immediately released into the community until formal extradition action has been reached. Seems people doing so will happily queue to be extradited after a year or so, hand themselves in, say sorry and go back to where they came from. Yes and pigs might fly,!!!! I really believe that the EU holds us in such low esteem that some of this is deliberate and designed to help us make up our minds to leave. In my case it's irrelevant I am already "left" so to speak!!

Agreed fully!!!! I am now 1000 percent for Brexit, when I saw Tony moneybags Blair and John braindead Major lecturing us all on REMAIN. One of these two (red) had a scientist, reporting findings, murdered by a person unknown, while the other one (blue) is telling porkies, not uncommon in our ruling classes, re the perils of leaving. Why do we just tell the whole EU to go to hell, and tell him down below (in Hell) to go back to keeping it hot down there??? Instead of which he is playing with FIRE.... up here ( bit of a joke there??) Strange bedfellows the 3 of them...

Hi with all that's going down with an MP being murdered by a nut shouting his anti EU slogan ,then Sir Bob Geldof being an Irish animal having a go ( a stupid antic to say the least) at the fisher men protest on the Thames ,the swingometer is now towards the remain lot . They are now keeping the idiots of both sides off the box ( Cameron & Boris) but there was a guy on the TV this morning who put immigrants top the pile again ,who you may ask ,well he leads a national party ( Labour) and stated that we as a country couldn't control our borders to EU nationals whilst being a member ,yes Mr Jeremy Corbyn has got it right. What is frightning most of the working class of this country are problems with state institutions ( NHS and GP access ) and jobs
