Will this latest restriction save life’s ???

In my opinion if it aids safety and security it's good. Despite having flown literally hundreds of times I am a nervous flyer. I don't enjoy it at all. Anything that is necessary to guarantee I don't end up unintentionally freefalling out of the sky is good with me!! I was once taken out of the queue and stripped to my boxers in Cleveland Hopkins Airport when a security scare was on, didn't phase me one bit.

Bet it fazed you though David !! Since being struck by lightning TWICE on a flight approaching O'Hare airport Chicago, and seeing the port engine aflame, my wife isn't too keen on flying any more either ! The days of actually enjoying the airport experience as part of the holiday are now long gone IMO, the inevitable delays ( without information as to why), the security checks( admittedly an absolute necessity) and constant slow moving queues all tend to take the gloss off today's travelling, plus, even when arriving at your destination airport, the worry that your suitcases actually flew on the same 'plane ! PS - why is my case ALWAYS the last onto the carousel !?! John (JKW)

David I had a similar experience at O'Hare Chicago after flying in from Manchester, with an onwards flight to Vegas . I must admit the yanks were very firm and polite, thankfully I had clean shreddies on .
