Amazon and not the river

July 6, 2016

Okay hold your hand up if you've an Amazon account, yep I thought so quite a few, we all travel we all read books and books are heavy so your baggage allowance is affected by your reading habit? . So you go out and purchase a e-reader or a kindle, brilliant if your like us winter in India and need loads of beach reading, infact we are on our 2nd kindle each the first wore out, between us about 5/600 books and a few out of print like my Mike Hammer books from the 50/60's that got me out of the barracks in Detmold if you know what I mean . So what's your trouble with Amazon ,well infact with most online sellers is their bombardment of e-mails trying to get you to buy something. Great if it's something you've been looking on their web site for BUT 2/3 times a day I have to empty the adverts/emails for god knows what ,at least we don't get junk mail over here like the UK . I know your going say to suck it in you started it by going on their site this is the 21st century ,all I can say thank Google for the delete button!!!!!!!
