Brexit Bias or What ?

February 13, 2017

Today Sky News ran with the story that cosmetic surgery (ie, face lifts, etc) operations are down by 39% - they've put the blame down to uncertainty over the economy post Brexit !! What rubbish, some will blame Brexit for the slightest thing - they need to get over it, and get a life.

Apparently phalloplasties, designer vaginas and anal bleaching figures have also dipped alarmingly. I simply can't get my head around it, bad choice of words I know!

There is a thought going round my head with latest immigration figures that if they're wearing a hijab they don't need to have plastic surgery or am I being racist??????

In far left circles that might well be construed as a racist statement Bob but in the sanity of the rest of the world not at all. One minor point, the hijab doesn't cover the face, just the head and ears, side of the face. The niqab is the thing you are talking about I think. Hope you are enjoying Goa, had a couple of long message exchanges with Tom Baker yesterday and the day before.

In answer to you question on Goa David, yes ,and I'm ( we) are booked for 8 weeks for next year. Now I'm on my second plot for a post about "extremism " we have people who think the Brexit voters who want Britain for the British are "racist "  just cos they want our Parliament to make the laws not some geek in Brussels. They are happy when they fool enough voters with to agree to their point of view,(even when like Trump has spouted a load of crap)  . Being a person with views that some people might say be old fashioned I think that certain parts of the media have the own agenda on Brexit and only report the news with a slant/ bias opposed to the real news thus, Fox News and the BBC a typical example .

Brexit Bias or What ?

Now back in Ireland, jet lagged to hell driving down from Dublin to Tipperary listening to the radio, political discussion on Brexit. Subject the feckin border between north and south,as you guys recall we did the border in 74 ,Rossliegh to be precise, all them " Lima" crossings, braithwaite tanks and craters etc. Well since the good Friday agreement the EU have invested millions into the border crossing something in the region of 400 crossing have been rebuilt allowing free movement. Shite the Irish government have realised that if Brexit goes hard that they'll have to man the borders with customs posts as in the old days ,well they think they'll do half a dozen . Here's a question for you guys to ponder , illegal immigrants could use this way of entering the UK and if the EU negotiations end up with a hard border " who will man it on the Northern side ,and how many of these expensive repaired crossing will be negated " thus allowing us ( UK) to control entry/exit to the north/ south . With the info David supplied earlier about our magnificent part Army proposal will /could the British army the man ( woman) power to do the job ????? This means that Junkers and his cronies could really feck up the peace process here by imposing a hard Brexit .

just think of all the jobs that these border crossing posts will create, and the money that the black market will generate, oops did I say that naughty word that sounds like slack, coal that's nutty and dark too, remember the livestock being brought over the border from the south in the east, driven across to the west and back over the border into the south all to do with the price of meat. This will also show that border control in mainland UK will need beefing up, regardless of it being a hard or soft brexit. Jobs for the boys in areas were unemployment is still high.
