Brexit Bias

January 18, 2018

Two reports I read today highlight the bias / bigotry against Brexit ;

1) The Society for Motor Manufacturers & Traders have released figures to indicate Black has overtaken White as the colour of choice for new cars for the 1st time in 4 years. Fair enough, but listen to the reason given by so called experts ;

"Colour psychologists have determined the change in preference to Black and Grey cars is due to uncertainties around Brexit".   What a load of rollocks !! Whenever have you ever let politics determine your liking for a particular colour ? Time these colour psychologists got a real job IMO.

2) Mark Carney, he better known as the Bank of England governor, has shown particular bias against Brexit, even during the Referendum campaign, and his doom n gloom forecasts ever since over the economy have proved spectacularly inaccurate so much so that he now endangers the very credibility of the BoE. His bias can also have very negative effects on inward investment - time he swapped his "bias hat" for one that promotes consumer confidence, otherwise he is likely to embarrass even further the very institution he represents. That is interesting,black is overtaken white mmmmmmm well if you buy a Hyundai a white car is €500 cheaper than any other colour. Maybe people are fed up with looking like clones driving a "white" car and putting their hands in their pockets or the lease cars which accounts for a large proportion of cars on the road have no difference in price ..... Brexit yeah next thing they'll be saying is Mercedes Audi etc from Germany are dropping their prices to compete with Korean cars .

with ref to car colours, think about it boys, paint manufacturers need time to produce the amounts required for all the different car manufacturers, and the car people decide what colours their new/upgraded models look better in. one used to be able to look at the majority of cars on the road and have a 70% chance of getting the year right without looking at the registration plate. Brexit is being used by everyone as an excuse for their failings. John as to colours influencing people, I do know that some of my drivers of the blue football persuasion in Liverpool will only buy blue cars and have their front doors in the same colour.( This would probably account for the hangdog expression on their faces). It should also be noted that the insurance companies did until recently hand a higher quote to drivers under thirty, specifically men who had purchased a RED car, their reasoning was that the testosterone was still running riot in their bodies, which made them unstable in stressful situations, red rag to a bull sort of thing.

Colour wise,  we should NEVER use Black for cars, since the U.S. mobsters used that shade always for their nefarious deeds of death. Mind you, the one colour that the mobs could have used but did not, was yellow, cos that is the colour of the New York TAXI cabs, and the mobs did not want to look like banana skins.....cos that is a wimp colour..... so I am off to a secret place before "Dey moiders me" for calling them wimps.....

Do you not realise that the only colour available was black, when Ford started to mass produce them, his saying was " you can have any colour as long as it is black", saying we should NEVER have black cars is rather silly, I personally like Red and most of my cars have been Red or Silver.

This one is a " doosey " with reference to Brexit . The British government is going to BAN    "plastic straws " as they are killing/ harming animals either on land or sea . The minister who( Michael Gove ) has been on the news stating that while Britain is in the EU that we can't do a simple thing like BANNING plastic straws which are harmful to the environment, roll on Brexit and give our Parliament sovereignty again .
