It's not just the BBC Bob,  Sky News have many reporters who are blatantly anti Brexit too, and look for any & every opportunity to run down the Tory Government. If we ever went to war again I reckon both TV News companies would highlight how wonderful our enemies were ! John (JKW)

I have watched the news on several channels and they all say that Boris Johnson is backseat driving, and that the cabinet think and say so too, it was and is being said that Amber Rudd uttered these words. I was watching the Andrew Marr show on Sunday when he was interviewing her and the first person to mention back seat driving was Andrew Marr he interjected as she was answering his question and said that he (Boris) was backseat driving, it has been wrongly attributed to Amber Rudd, more spin by the news agencies.

A few years ago when I was still 'gainfully employed' in my civilian occupation, I always awarded myself a 'Heidi Friday' ( you would have had to have been in Sennelager to know what that is, suffice it to say it's a German Pub called the Heidekotten)  4 O'clock on the dot, shut down PC, clear my desk, send my PA home and then off to the golf club for the water of life! Stopped off at home to collect she who must be obeyed so that she could come and drive me home later. After putting the world to rights with like minded (mainly Tory supporting members) and more than enough of the Famous Grouse in the golf club bar, Veronika would collect me when I rang her and then stop off at the village Chippy en route home to assuage my post alcohol munchies. After eating and settling down at home Question Time was 'de rigeur' for me, somewhat to the chagrin of Mrs F who has as much interest in politics as Wayne Rooney has in staying faithful. I loved the debates, the cut and thrust of the arguments, the fair mix audience and the whole programme of topical issues. With several large whiskers under my belt I joined in the debates vociferously, if pointlessly, as no one could hear me!  About 5 years ago I stopped watching it because it had become a farce. Audiences seemed almost one sidedly anti Tory, the non politicos on the panel were mainly Billy Budd types, socialist diehards and the whole thing just seemed to be going away from ethical debate. Anyway, out of sheer boredom one Friday recently I was flicking through the channels and happened upon my old favourite. I left it on for about 20 minutes. Nothing but anti Brexit, anti Tory anti anything remotely to do with the Government and it served as a timely reminder as to why I had stopped watching it years ago. The BBC is not unbiased, it IS, or at least portrays itself as, anti Tory and it just seems to delight in putting a totally negative spin on every single aspect of Government. Last evening reporter after reporter asserted the TM was in a weak position because of Boris's recent spread in the newspapers apropos Brexit. 'She is trying to sort global trade deals while her ministers are plotting behind her back' seems to be flavour of the moment. Meanwhile Corbyn is doing nothing other than urging unions to strike in order to bring the Government down because he is too ineffectual to do it any other way. BBC......Biased Bitching Corporation! And yes I know, long intro before I got to the crux of my post. You can't please all of the people all of the time.

Got to post something about the happening on Question Time last . We had the usual blather from the remoaners ( a Tory who voted against PM and a Corbynite female) all blather blather until a member of the audience from Barnsley had a say . A mature guy giving the Tory a hard time as a traitor and the Labour lass for their flip flopping on the single market. Then he stated that when the referendum was asked ,you either voted IN or OUT ,there was no QUESTION 2 on a hard or soft BREXIT,just IN or OUT ,so why are these politicians going against the DEMOCRATIC MAJORITY who WANT OUT. If you are Facebook there is a video of the panel and the audience, makes interesting viewing.

QT is an erstwhile favourite programme of mine. No longer! The bias is staggering. The audiences seem handpicked to create criticism of the Government and denigrate any and all attempts at reasoned and fair debate. The treacherous actions of those Tory Remoaners who defeated the Brexit bill will do the opposite to what they claim was their intention. TM has lost her bargaining strength, she will sit at the negotiating table with her adversaries knowing she is disenfranchised, unempowered, unable to sign any deal off without Parliamentary approval. Her negotiating powers are now subject to the whims of the Labour Party and her own party traitors. I kept saying this but I will repeat it,  I wonder why TM doesn't call her MPs together, sit them down and say, ' here's the deal, I'm peed off with all the backstabbing, the treachery, the power games, the clinging to hopes of a rethink on Brexit, back me 100% or I will stand down with immediate effect and you can see what happens at a general election'! In her position that's exactly what I would do, she doesn't need the money, the hassle, the treachery and it's time some of those traitors and backsides in her own party were taught a lesson. In my opinion.

I reckon that in the face of all the backstabbing etc, TM has done remarkably well - not only has she got the Labour Party to contend with, she's got the majority of the so-biased media, the mealy mouthed Tory rebels ( Soubrey is a b**ch), all queuing up to find fault without ever giving credit - even the EU Ministers praised her recent efforts today, which is more than many in the UK managed to do. If TM doesn't take your sound advice David (does she really look in on here !?), then the very least she should do is sack from the Party those who voted against her earlier this week - she's made some mistakes has our PM, but she's not only astute, but has got guts too. the problem with sacking the renegades is it would weaken her even further, I agree with David. the only threat left is to sit them all down and say it like it is, I am sure we could put some in the army on the Falklands, or other far flung island some where they need to be a sniper to live,  as they are suited to the job already.

Isn't it marvellous 7 months down the line and they still  haven't grasped the decision of the British people to leave the E U . Sky news just reports, the Brussels Broadcasting Corporation report what it thinks the Remoaners want to hear ,not the 52% who voted to leave ,we keep getting Northern Ireland being brought up . The border is between 2 nations ,yes we have 20 years of peace ,we only had a "hard border" due to people in the south wanting destruction and mayhem,so what's changed .The IRA got sheared government, which they are not in at the moment,it's not like someone is holding a gun to their head . Maybe the rumbling I hear local about an Irish exit might come to pass now the Republics going actually pay into European Union for the first time in 40 odd years ,not like the UK the 2nd highest payer ..........
