Corbyn the Hypocrite !

June 30, 2019

I see Jeremy Corbyn has been after the populist vote again by singing the praises of the first black entertainer (Stormzy - never heard of him myself) to headline at Glastonbury, stating what a wonderful cultural revolution it was. I wonder if he would have been so quick to submit his Twitter message if Stormzy had been Jewish !?! John (JKW)

Yes, (ab)use an event to spout political rhetoric and have a terrorist supporting, marxist, radical left wing halfwit sing your praises The BBC are just as bad for broadcasting it. They allegedly knew beforehand he was going to rap his crap! As an aside and on a completely different note, anyone else noticed how much more relaxed and jovial TM is since she resigned her office?  Just a thought!

with regards to TM who gives  FLYING  F--K  whether she is happy or not, who ever gets the job of PM will quickly elevate her to the other house they will not want her sitting on the back benches, as far as Stormzy is concerned more people there cheered Attenborough,

Yes, I too noticed TM's changed "appearance", seems more assured as well. She obviously doesn't care a jot what  the backstabbers think now, no doubt looking forward to putting her feet up ! John (JKW)

Although I never intimated I ‘cared’ whether or not TM is now happier post resignation (Bob), a certain city investment relationship manager named Phillip  gives a huge ‘flying fcuk’ in answer to your question.   She has stated she WILL sit on the back benches and can only be elevated to the Lords if she accepts a peerage.   Finally, Attenborough getting more applause than Stormzy wasn’t the point I was making, the anti Brexit biased BBC was the point!   Apropos Attenborough, whilst cheering him and hanging on his every word the same crowd left a huge swathe of litter and environmentally unfriendly rubbish behind. Hundreds of tents left in the fields! Hypocrisy doesn’t coneeven near to describing it all.   Have a great day!

I concur with your points David, the bias the bbc  has shown is evident on every broadcast they have made on the college green, with the loud mouth stop brexit being heard and seen throughout their interviews, I wonder why the police never seem to move them on for (perhaps breaking the decibels allowed, causing a disturbance) etc. futher to that why were they allowed to get away with flying the Union flag below the EU flag on several occasions. Listening to Boris and Hunt, they both say they will deliver Brexit come what may, but Hunt is happy to extend yet further, very disappointing, with reference to to the rubbish let behind it happens every year, last year it was 63 tons, I did hear thet the tents do get recycled to the middle east etc, going now to hopefully watch the England ladies win. keep smiling.

OK ! OK! This "old git" has been shamed into writing a ditty ? Hello....Dave, John (JKW) and of course BOB. Hello to each and ever one of you and of course all those who "Just" read the daily rantings of our "MY" fellow contributors to this very fine online Carabinier website. I didn't make it to the last reunion in Chester (My place of birth by the way) as our old pal Ken Pritchard wasn't up to it and as Mary and myself usually go with Ken & Sheila to the annual "get together",  we decided to give it a miss. Mary's youngest brother had also just died ....so.... I'll "leave it there for now" and await the FLAK ! Alan (Mickey) Stockton.

Micky Stockton, now there’s a blast from the past. If my memory serves me correctly we were at Catterick together during training weren’t we? I recall ‘chastising’ a bullyboy Irishman (QRIH) from your room at one stage! Good to hear from you after so many years, sad news about Ken, great guy. I recall you were RQMS (T) in Sennelager before Chris McGarrell but lose track of you after that. Hope all is well with you and yours Mick, your post has improved contribution figures by 25% in one fell swoop lol. Best Wishes D.

Hello David. Yes your memory does serve you right. I was RQMS (T), and RQMS under John Tyson .....what a great Guy he was. I remember my first year in the Army and I think you had rein-listed so had a room all to yourself with the "Dizzy" rank of L/Cpl if my my memory serves me right. You certainly saved my neck on one occasion as I recall ? Anyway good to hear from you again after all these years. Alan (Mickey).

Post it on ANY  forum page you want, Mickey, it's just great to hear from you again ! Where have you settled after demob ? We moved to Neston, 10 miles from Chester, where we lived for 20 years before FULLY retiring (from HM Prison Service) to a place called Cheadle, 5 miles from Alton Towers, in the Staffordshire Moorlands. Love it here, but this self isolation "thingy" hasn't half curtailed matters eh - still, better safe than sorry. Keep posting, and stay safe, John (JKW)

Hello John. Mary an I are ensconced in a small town called Shildon (The "drugs Capital of Europe" by all accounts !) just outside Bishop Auckland in County Durham. We passed close by Cheadle last year on our way to Wrexham where my eldest brother lives. We were travelled along the A50 from Castle Donington where our son now resides, (He used to live in Nottingham) but moved...eventually....and bought a house there with his second wife Sophie.  Enough for now but its great to know so many of you are still around, Dave,Bob....Hi Bob (again) ....and of course yourself. Mickey, the A50 !! That road and the A500 are the life blood of this area, a breakdown or accident on either absolutely cripples traffic, can't go anywhere! You must have picked a good day to drive along the A50, although to be fair, the part Uttoxeter to Derby way is a good road, but get close to the Potteries, a nightmare! Yep, Carole & I are still around (50 years married now !), glad you & Mary are too - keep safe, & keep indoors until this dreaded virus has all gone. John (JKW)

John, Yep, been along the A500...years ago now of course.... it was when my son Matthew was living in Nottingham and we went to Wrexham along it. We didn't make the same mistake this time though and that is why we took the A50 and gave "The Potteries" a wide....ish berth this time and dropped down onto the M6 and travelled North and came off 2 or 3 exits up which meant we were now West if Stoke...!! Yippee. It's good that you and Carole are still an item after all these years (A rarity these days!).......Mary and I celebrated our Golden wedding anniversary last August, so its 50 for this pair also.  Well... must sign off now but I'll be back. Mickey S.
