Back in the winter my Samsung decided it wouldn't charge ,mmmmm, got to have a phone,so searched Amazon got the phone that looked all singing and dancing but it was special offer at Carphone warehouse. So this Huawei was 4g ( whatever) and had the latest android system and only cost €90 ,great ,now 6 months into owning said Huawei I've had enough ,what took seconds for me on my Samsung took forever on the new one .The App Store was crap couldn't get to download decent music let alone take decent pictures, then I tried to transfer from my old phone to the new one ( shite) .Having tried numerous businesses to see if they could help in the local area but had to go to Cork city 60 odd K's away were they said they could help ( bingo) ,as I had to go to the cancer clinic there anyway is Cork . It cost €45 to fix my old phone ,got to thinking ( yep me think ) the operating system on the new phone I just can't do with it ,let's go back on the old Samsung. Okay it took me a couple of hours to get it up and running then had to tune the car into the old phone ( yippee) ,my rant " Why oh why do they keep updating apps/ systems??? you just get used to something then they change it and not for the better ,well not visible anyway " ??????? Freedom!!!!

I know exactly what you mean Bob, & it's not just Android systems either, Apple are just as bad with their iPhones. I've got a Samsung now, what a difference, and very happy with it, even a non techy person like me can operate it ! The updates on the PC are the worst, ( Windows) , some take an age and often  lose any saved log ins too- a real pain in the bum that is !! John (JKW)
