New Labour??

If by chance Labour gets in and the SNP join up with them to wreck the country, will the new title be' Scottish National Labour Party' imagine the 'Poison Dwarf' lecturing us every day alongside Milliband with his goofy grin, nodding his head like a good muppet

This is the only country in the world where the lunatics are in charge, and nothing will change in the coming elections. The only comparison I can make is that our "leaders" make the muppets look like extremely well educated people. Someone asked "what would happen if  nobody at all voted ?"- we would have a load of self important idiots who are no longer MP's, running around like headless chickens, with 100 foxes in the hen house. Almost the whole country is and has been under the control  of companies outside the UK  for a long time. While the rest of the world is re-arming, this bunch have reduced our forces almost to the point where we would have difficulty to beat a group of 3 legged hedgehogs.  Tom

Part of the problem is caused by Snake Clegg's treacherous U Turn on supporting the Tory boundary change Bill that would have done away with Labour's current 40 seat automatic advantage. The next part of the problem is the ineptness and stupidity of Westminster in failing to address The Westlothian Question which provides Scottish MPs, from purely Scottish constituencies, the right to vote on purely English matters of legislation et al but not vice versa!! Had these two matters been resolved during Cameron's tenure of office there would likely be NO hung parliament, there would be NO opportunity for a SNP/Labour alliance from hell. For the first time in my long(ish) life I am concerned about the outcome of a general election. Charlie is absolutely right, imagine the toxic 2 (Sturgeon and Salmond sounds a bit fishy to me!!) pulling Milipede's strings like two mad, bad and dangerous rabid latter day Bravehearts. Milipede has no backbone as it is, wait until Sturgeon sinks her claws into him,. Goodbye Trident, benefits uncapped, immigration gates fully opened to all, lower pension age for Scots because they are less healthy than the English and die younger (her words not mine), no referendum on EU membership BUT another one on Scottish Independence AND NO more austerity, we will spend our way out of debt,. In time honoured fashion when you are up to your eyeballs in debt you simply BORROW more because it stimulates the economy again her words not mine. WHAT? You think it will lower our global credit rating, affect our overseas trade figures, increase the national debt and vastly increase the interest we pay? Well yes, but we will be able to pay more in benefits, keep up or increase our overseas aid, create more ludicrous non jobs in the public sector AND become popular with parts of the electorate. Sturgeon is hell bent on disrupting Westminster to achieve independence, I sincerly hope the opportunity for her to do so is dispelled by the electorate in England.

I often wonder how many Scots actually WANT to leave the United Kingdom, or how many English would say"yes, go" but we will have to wait and see. Just imagine the total c*** up that would ensue, with both sides, England and Scotland, boh insisting THEY are in the right, and the "other lot" whoever they may be are a bunch of baboons. It has all the makings of a real life Muppets show. I can not imagine ANY situation where we are better off apart, despite all the talky talky going on, and threats being made.Better together than apart, because one or other of our 2 countries could well build a modern Hadrians Wall all over again. When the talking stops, the figurative fighting begins, and then none of us will live to see a "Victor", but nobody in government will grasp the nettle and kill the threat once and for all. Will we, if separate nations, go to the help of the other, if threatened by others or is that NOT a possibility? My grandfather's family moved when he was a young boy, from Western Scotland to North East England  in the late 1890's to work in the shipyards there, and my grandad later started working there too, as a boilermaker with Doxfords Shipyard, so I do not know what he would have said if he was around today. The big problem here in England is that it appears that many say "They are not interested" in this problem, "nothing to do" with them. HM would not be pleased, think of all her lovely Scottish castles she could lose!! Roll on 2020!!! Tom

Bob, Can we not sentence the Scots "Two Fishes" to expulsion to somewhere that is suffering from civil war, with total poverty, lack of food, no money, mass killing of those who oppose the actions of their leaders, and no hope, to show them what they are suggesting for this fine United Kingdom of ours? We may not be 100 percent perfect, but we do have a union which is one of the finest the world has ever seen, or will ever see again, if the fishes get their way? I am criticising Salmond and Sturgeon here, not the Scottish electorate  themselves. Tom

It was old Labour in a new guise, thankfully the electorate saw through it.
