New SKY Deals etc.

July 24, 2017

I think I qualify for membership of the "SKY Confusion Brigade"...... Last week I watched my old SKY screen and all the programs I accessed from time to time without a problem, but today I accessed the screen today, but the screen has changed, with loads of new sports and all the other sections, and it seems that SKY have taken over the broadcasting TV world, there are loads of separate sports subsections, together with lots of new screens I do not have a clue what they are for, so I tried to access Sky. . BUT, I got so confused (not difficult these days) and I thought I would go to the SKY shop here in Chester, but it was no longer there. Plan A failed. It appears that the Sky group have redesigned their screens, so much that there are a multitude of sports channels for different categories of "Sports" groups, so much so that they seem to have taken over the total world of Sports. Each item in each of the related groups of "Sport" is now multitudinous.... And I do not see how to get back to normal service as before. Anyone else seen anything like this?? Or am I missing something related to "We (Sky)  have taken over the World's sports in total. I am now "Confused totally.Com'.......

I think it's "designed" (!?!) in order for those who subscribe to the Sky Sports channels to  opt out of the boring ones and just select the sports they actually want to watch - they say it'll save you money !! In theory, if you just wanted the Premier League channel then choosing that would save cash over the previous system - I did hear of a guy who negotiated himself a deal whereby he paid just £7 on top of the basic subscriptions to have the PL channel ! Me ? I'm sticking with the basic which gets me Sky Sports HQ, plus the really excellent ( for fans of LFC !) LFCTVGO at £4.99 per month. John (JKW)

Guys all they (Sky) are doing is to you ( customer) pay more MONEY for sports . bBefore they (sports) were clubbed together ,now if yo want to more than one (1) sport you have to buy that channel, simple way to fleece their customers. Or am I being cynical?????

No  Bob, you are correct my friend, Sky have not thought it out before sending out their NEW and Confusing (to me) list of all sports being grabbed by Sky and to heck with the rest of the nation/world.For 4 years or so I had the then Sports channel from Sky, but now, in the last few days,Sky have segregated all sports into blocks of types of sport, and specific groups without sending out warnings and advice to all Sky users that the presentation of each Sport group is different. It would have helped if they had sent messages out reporting that Sky segments were to be changed, and shown what was involved. But, I will just calm down... I already have the original Sports section, so do I just carry on selecting any "sports" segment(s), or am I being too naive? I will play the fool, and see what they in Sky do to me.... I may be wiped off the face of Sky or even the entire world in total......Hey Ho, here I go.... But thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it. I had not realised that the world now belongs to Sky, and nobody else.  But all is well elsewhere.....
