Not a rant cent for Brexit

May 3, 2017

This morning having my cornflakes I nearly chocked, why well since the last dinner T M and Junkhead had there has been alsorts of amounts on how much the U.K. is going to pay for the privilege of leaving the EU . The latest amount is a €100 billion, were they get these numbers from must be fantasy land , as the UK has been a net contributor for its time in the Union , to pay for the privilege to leave is a big NO NO . Seriously do they think a Sovereign country is going to pay these stupendous sums being quoted  if T M's government or even a Corbyn one did pay there would be riots on the streets . As already stated "No Deal " is better than a Bad Deal " what are they going to do send our 1million Brits back and what would their  3 million odd who live on the isle of the UK do ,yep Ryanair would be busy . Over to Mercedes,BMW,Pueagot,Renault,Citroen,Skoda, Meilia ,Bosch,Spanish Holidays/Fruit and veg , and Greece is full of migrants ,etc etc etc get my drift . Yes there are  4/5 hundred million in Europe but there are 6/7 billion on this earth to trade with  just look at the numbers , the United Kingdom has been here before 72 years ago when Germany owned Europe and we survived and now we are not fighting , so bring it on Junkhead .

Not a rant cent for Brexit

I can not selieve that ANY sane government would acceed to the notion than even before the real infighting about Brexit gets up a head of steam, that ANYONE in their right minds would agree to say YES to have to pay for LEAVING the abomination of infighters who go by the name of the ECONOMIC UNION, they are money grabbers not genuine good old politicians. Who in their right mind would pay the EU a single cent to leave the rat pack called the EU. The first thing to do is for the UK to say NO to any payment, from UK to the EUsince we in UK have subscribed for all our time in  this comedy of corruption in the years we have been part of it. Say NO, and walk away, since the loons in EU will not resort to violence to make anybody pay to leave this disgraced rat race of the EU. To put it mildly, I suggest we in UK should just walk away, as the EU have not the guts to fight in or out of court. And even if they did, we in UK would still not pay to leave. (Wishful thinking on my part though). But we could give them the few new one pound coins which were damaged during their production, and even that would be too much, these loony continentals are brain dead. Now dismounting, for tea!!!

Tom me thinks your wishful thinking might not be far off,as you know there are so many of the social departments requiring a cash handouts that to give a feckin large amount to our ex partners across the channel would be a NO NO . Reading between the lines the more these non elected members of the commission threaten the Brexit talks the more the people's of the United Kingdom will get behind TM . The talk of a NO DEAL is better than a bad deal raises its head , and in living memory the U.K. has stood on its own against a bigger threat than Junket and co ,and we didn't do so bad then did we ?????

we DO pay to go into a club, we do NOT pay to leave a club,    2nd most spoken language in the world ENGLISH junkers then addresses the meeting in Italy in French ,commenting that English is a dying language in Europe. that Britain will be isolated in Europe, that Britain will stand alone. Well we have done it before and we will do it again these jumped up so called politicians of the EU, would do well to remember the stand alone country in the 2nd world war and the outcome.

I might not be politically savvy (where IS Dave Fullard !?!), but cannot understand quite where Brussels get their sums from when bandying around these "compensation payments" they say we must pay. Yes, if we OWE money at the end of the due Brexit process for services that we'd contracted for and received, then that's OK, but if it's purely to pay for (as I read somewhere) the office space we once  used when an EU member, and other  such like expenses,, then it's a BIG No No IMO. As Bob R said, the obstinate stance Junkers & Co are building up against us, makes it far more likely TM will get the substantial majority she wants, which in turn will (despite their denials) put Brussels on the back foot during negotiations. To add insult upon insult, as Bob L commented, for "Junket" to say English is a dying language in Europe is an absolute lie - it might be within the corridors of the HQ in Brussels (their loss certainly), but elsewhere in Europe it's thriving, just as our economy will become once rid of the shackles of the EU - Bring it on, I say, the British Bulldog spirit is back !!  John (JKW)

The alleged Euro100 million Brexit bill is supposedly for future EU commitments the UK signed up to with other member states and is therefore supposedly obliged to honour. The figures being bandied about have, to date, no real substance but are intended to weaken our position and intimidate us from the onset of the negiotiations.  As much as I hate to say it I believe we WILL end up paying something unless the negotiations fail irretrievably and TM walks away. In the latter case we would resort to normal World Trade Agreements, which hundreds of other countries use as trading tools, and cock a hoot at the Brussels Bullies. We could then tell them to stuff their Brexit bill!! In my opinion that is an unlikely outcome.  It is important to remember the Brussels Eurocrats are a different entity to the member states'  leaders. I read that many leaders are tiring of Junckers rhetoric and recognise the need for a fair deal for both sides. As an aside, Juncker actually said English was losing importance in Europe, (because we are leaving the EU) and, as his speech coincided with the French elections, he would present it in French. It WAS a dig at us, he is always sniping at the UK, but not quite the insult the media would have us believe. The fact is the Brussels Bullies would love to see TM either ousted as PM or at least left with a non working majority government. Either scenario would severely weaken the UK's bargaining position. The last thing Junckers wants is a buoyed up, newly elected TM with a large majority and a really strong bargaining position. BUT, here's my forecast;  the U.K. WILL eventually do a deal, we WILL pay a hefty but negotiated Brexit bill, that bill will be less than the one forecast but more than most of us think it should be, we WILL agree a bilateral deal on EU immigrants living here and British ex pats living in EU countries. There will be a massive outcry from Labour et al that TM has sold us down the Swanee, that she has betrayed us etc etc but we WILL exit with a deal. My rationale for that assumption is simple. It is in no one's best interests for the negiotiations to fail. EU member states export more to the UK than vice versa. For trade barriers to exist, for import levies to be bilaterally in force on both sides of the UK/EU borders would be a loss to all 28 countries. I believe common sense will eventually prevail. Finally, it will be interesting to see the new French President reacts to the UK. All we have to hope for is a resounding victory for TM. The demise of the Lib/Dems would be an added bonus!!

David couldn't say it any better ,yes pay what we've signed upto as the honest country the UK is ,yes look after the EU nationals already living/working here . Yes honour the defence of Europe through NATO and other treaties of old ,be a good neighbor in the time of want and keep Europe from shooting itself in the foot. The clouds I see are these non elected politicians/ fat cats who think they can punish the UK for daring to leave their club ,why who else would pay for their grandiose ideas ( and their heavy pay packages) other than the Germans /French . The jungle drums are sounding from the average voter that the more Junket and Co beat their gums running down/ threatening the UK the bigger TM's majority will be giving Her more of a position negotiate.

And to think that the jolly old EU think THEY are the innocent and hard done to ones, and not the UK, who the rest of the EU play down and criticise all the time. If I was PM of UK, I would walk away now, and ignore their demands for anything more than a mouldy old bit of tripe because we have left them to suffer.....
