The "do-gooders" are at it again, condemning a man for speaking out about something he believes in.

Whether you agree or not with his views on homosexuality, kiddie fiddling etc, surely he must be allowed to have his views heard just as any other citizen in this country ?

With regards getting him slung out of the Sports Personality Award candidacy I find totally wrong - again, what's happened to free speech in this country ? We seem to be pandering to the minority all in the name of "political correctness" - it's time we got back to old fashioned British values, & for those not comfortable with them, simples - EMIGRATE !

Fury stems from "travelling" stock where they have different cultural values, particularly where their women are concerned. Now; we are not being asked to agree with how he thinks or to conform to his way of life he just asks to be allowed to live his life as HE wishes to. Apropos his statements on homosexuality and paedophiles, he is a committed Christian  and his words echo those of many other Christians, around the world. He DID make a single unfortunate comparison twixt homosexuals and paedophiles for which he has since apologised. I don't agree with much of his recent words on these matters BUT what happened to free speech and democracy. What happened to the old adage; " I don't agree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it" (or words to that effect). Tyson Fury doesn't conform to what the establishment expects. He is never going to be a Henry Cooper, he is controversial, outspoken, opinionated and brash. He is also successful, intelligent, articulate and..../.....the holder of 3 heavyweight world boxing titles. He BEAT the man they said couldn't be beaten. SO, in typical British style, we have to try and knock him off the pedestal he has climbed. We simply can't have someone being British, successful AND popular when that person refuses to conform to how we think he should !! It's a dog's breakfast, typical of modern day Britain, beset with the "Thought Police", the OTT PC Brigade and the country where it is now illegal to act within your own conscience and Christian ethics. A country where the victims are to blame for crime, the radical Islamists have more human rights than those they seek to murder, we send money to countries to help them build flood defences when our own citizens are being washed out of their homes and  a bearded, pacifist numpty heads up Her Majesty's opposition. What chance does Tyson Fury have in being accepted? If I were him I would tell the BBC to stuff their award!!

Reading the previous posts on the fighter Tyson being allowed to say it as he thinks or lives his life as a Christian and Him being pilloried by our P C know it alls who's right to have their say is on the back of people who like Him fought for that right . Freedom of speech and demonstrate (peaceable) is our right by birth and sacrifice of our for bearers ,this should be defended He's not preaching to kill people , His only problem is the BBC will run with this story not with the story of THOUSAND's of Poles demonstrating against mass migration in Europe of Syrian refugees or the burning of migrants accommodation in Germany . Yes the British press built them up just to kick 'em in the nether regions ........so kick him if he straps a bomb around his waist and goes into a gay bar !!
