Will they keep letting them in the back door???

So letting all of Africa/middle eastern countries wannabes off the boats into Southern Europe and then spread them through Europe is not going to work.Ok they're saving lives  ,yes it's a humane thing to do ,BUT as the our countries fill up with people who have no skills ,no language,no anything they will drain our coffers ,take out housing and in some cases become terrorists, they then will bite the hand of the people who helped them... ,The Aussies have the right idea ,put em on an island and don't let them in and return to their own country of origin ,we simply don't need these people ,we are just making problems for our grandchildren. There is no easy answer but if we sit on our hands we'll be swamped .

At the rate things are going these days, this great country of ours will be ruled by Muslims within 2 generations, and we  white British origin peoples will form the minority of the population, and we only have the EU and the mad hatter left wing idiots of this country and the UN to blame. God help our native population of white Christian faith in the years to come. It is way past time that this once great country of ours should go back to its roots and demand that we leave the EU. At least that way we only have ourselves to blame. But knowing our brain dead leaders they will do nothing, then in years to come, these same "leaders" will have to bite the bullet of their lack of courage, both moral and physical, but by then it will be too late to recover. I mention the UN because they too have turned their backs on our native population in favour of those who have no right to be allowed to come here in the first place. Once more, that is ME in the nick for ever and a day. And nobody can tell me that there IS no problem, no matter how high and mighty they may think themselves to be, they are, in truth, spineless idiots, one and all.

I see that they have let over a 100k into the Greece, so Kos is now overrun ,next Athen ??? But it's ok they only want to go to Sweden and Germany.....so what are those countries going to do/say when they get swamped ,oh I know give 'em a ticket to Calais and pass the problem to the French and the Brits ....They must send them back , straight away as they'll breed and then their "human rights"will be effected ....and we wouldn't like that.As I see it if they wanted asylum they'd apply in Greece the first country of arrival, but NO they want the better life so sooner than later they WILL come ,yep the government are sleep walking into a major disaster ,that all EU governments not just the UK,,,,,,,this is going to run for a long time .....worst part IS are filtering in their operatives in among the people, just hope the vetting is on the ball or the problems are going up a level.

Yes and Iraq,Syria,Afganistan,Egypt,Tunisia and Lybia .Looking at the lunchtime news most of the Middle East is moving north...reading the press here in Ireland somebody said there's a sale on at Aldi.Serious now the ones that were on the ferry boat said that had said we had been told to come they're welcome.Yes the EU has made a real mess of the migrant problem, but there's only a 150 a day trying the channel tunnel (looks like the rest have already got access) and whatever this registration form the Greeks are giving out might make them think they're wanted ??????.....the sooner IS is wiped out and those countries involved get back to normal (whatever that is)may and I say may we'll get back to real refugees

On the news today it was clear to see WHY so many in Syria want to flee such a war-torn country, BUT, why not flee to another Muslim country rather than Greece, Italy , France or the UK, all predominately Christian ? Could it be they've been told that we are, or very soon will be, Muslim dominated ? I.S.  is an international problem , & will require leaders of all nations to get together and make a concerted effort to wipe them out with all & every means at the disposal of the UN, NATO, & even the Warsaw Pact countries. If they all got involved, the world could be rid of the monstrosity that is the so-called Islamic State within 6 weeks. John (JKW)

The need for a concerted, consolidated, highly aggressive response to wipe out IS once and for all is so blindingly obvious it makes me wonder why the combined intellectual and military might of so many countries affected by them fail to see it! Like so many other issues we have faced in the recent past I suspect the world will wake up and smell the coffee when it is too late, when the growth of IS is such that it becomes virtually impossible to deal with them with conventional military weapons. I try NOT to become frustrated any more with things I cannot personally affect or change but I do get just a tiny bit angry when I see the inertia, the procrastination, the ineptitude and the ignorance of so many of the world's leaders who should be addressing this issue sitting back and pontificating. Blair's stupidity in Iraq and Afghanistan plays a huge part of our own procrastination and likewise for Bush and the USA. The cost in lives, money, public goodwill et al, resultant from those two needless wars, has made many western countries wary about taking decisive action against IS. The trouble is this is one time when we REALLY should be doing something about it!!

I remember when Saddam Hussain decided to invade Kuwait in the very early 1960s, and the UK responded by sending the strategic reserve units, including elements of 3DG, to support Kuwait. Saddam had obviously not thought that UK would react so quickly,, and he suddenly had to draw back into Iraq. If the present group of supposed support countries who should respond to illegal intrusions like Saddam's in Kuwait, had reacted as quickly, the West could probably have dealt successfully with IS and company when this group first raised their heads. As it is, we are watching stagnation, the enemy of progress and peace. Procrastination is the worst enemy of progress and peace. Our leaders seem to have that in abundance!! It is a pity our rulers do not have a clue about security, reaction and success, as UK did in Kuwait. The unit involved from 3DG was C Sqn, and support elements. I was at that time in HQRAC 3 Div, the RAC strategic reserve HQ in Tidworth.

As David said the complete indifference to what needs doing out there is frustrating,as previously stated by many contributions of us "old soldiers ",politicians have not learnt from history, okay we haven't got a Hitler or a Saddam but the interpretation of the Muslim faith is more dangerous at least you can kill a Hitler but religion,???

Despite all the demands from those in power in UK for the instant production of the report from the Chilcott enquiry into the invasion of Iraq by the UK (which was  ordered by Tony Blair and co), CHILCOTT has now decided to take a long holiday, probably because he has procrastinated for soooo long, and has  now realised that HE is centre stage for being accused of keeping the report locked away, and determined NOT to release it to public view. Where is the hangman when he is needed. People like him do not deserve all the sacrifices our service men and women  made when they were in IRAQ. I think this lunatic should be ordered to produce it immediately, and once produced, Chilcott should then serve the rest of his life at Her Majesty's Pleasure. Bread and water for all meals, too. If he fails to produce the report immediately, then not just him, but this government should also be held to account. And comrade Tony Blair should also be put into jail, where the only other person in his cell is his wife. Permanently, 24/7. Sounds like a suitable punishment for them both.
