 Welcome to all who may have an interest in the Regiment. A special welcome of course to anyone who served, or has an association with the regiment in some form. My name's Jim Smith, or as all Smith's are known throughout the services "smudge".

I served in Detmold from 1964/1967 with "B" squadron, and left the army in 1967.In common with most ex squadie's I lost all contact with old friends on leaving.

I knew the Regiment amalgamated in 1971, a sad day to see a Regiment with hundred's of years of history vanishing, it's called progress by the politicians.

Please browse the site, comments in the forum or guest book are most welcome.
