Osnabruck 1959, Jim maintains the 3DG marched through the town during the 100 years war, says he knows this for a fact as he was in the band then. I stand corrected by Jim they rode not marched.

The Trumpet Team played at the opening of Chester Assizes I think about
1960-- Taken on the roof of the castle main building.

Sam Holmes became Bandmaster of the Black Watch, and later the s African
Police  rising to Brigadier in charge of all the SA police bands
