Having a good day but bored lol. So I thought I would try a new thread. I do a quite cringey thing that I am almost ashamed to admit. I am going to share it with you and jope you will do likewise.

Here’s my confession. We have a pet dog called Lola. She is a PomChi. A cross between a Pomeranean and a Chihuahua. Totally gorgeous little thing, loving but yappy as her breed tend to be. She rules our home.  Every morning V gets up at 5:30 ( it’s a German thing lol) lets Lola out of the breakfast room where she sleeps and the dog runs straight upstairs crawls under the duvet and snuggles into the crook of my legs until V collects her at 7 am for her toilet walk. Now that’s not even my confession. Lola loves doggie dental sticks. She doesn’t like chewing them up. If I give her one she jumps on my lap and drops it on me. Jumps down and sits at my feet looking up at me. It means she wants me to bite pieces off and feed them to her. It defeats the whole object of the dental sticks of course. But muggins here does exactly that! They don’t taste of much but how cringey is it to accommodate a pet to that extent? I forgot to mention, if I bite  off a piece too big she drops it back in my lap to make it smaller! NO I don’t! You have to draw a line somewhere lol.

So let’s here some other confessions. John, I get the impression your  little dog is maybe a tad spoilt? Anything to share?

"Fudge" is a cockapoo, renowned for their loyalty & ability to act like Velcro to their owners - Fudge is no exception & rules the roost here in so many ways. We converted a bedroom in our bungalow into a "sun room" but that's now known as the "Fudge Room" where he not only sleeps, but has the biggest box of goodies and a toybox dominating the room. He has an electric reclining leather settee, with blanket laid out, and 3 x cushions, all of which he "allows" me to share when I watch Sky Sports & the News after our evening meal (Carole watches Neighbours / Home & Away at this time !). He is so full of character , makes us laugh every day - after our 3pm coffee break ( a lockdown tradition) when he has a munchy roll thingy, he drops a ball at my feet which is the (insistent !) signal for our 10-15 minute "chase the ball" game ( he chases !). We had our lawns front & back artificially turfed, the best thing we ever did for many reasons , the best one being meaning that whatever the weather we can play without have to wipe his muddy paws ! Fudge has been an absolute boon during the lockdowns, although we have ensured no "separation anxiety" by leaving him on his own at least twice per week - he doesn't mind, he keeps his settee warm & always gets a treat on our return ! Well I read that right didn’t I. We live in a cul de sac, 4 houses. Next door have a cockapoo, Holly. THE cutest, most loveable little pooch ever. If we leave our garage door open, it opens into the house via a fire door and she is out,  she is straight into the house much to Lola’s chagrin. Found her reposing on our bed one day. So, I get your love for Fudge entirely. Lola is brill to leave for several hours providing we leave the kitchen tv on and give her a kong when we go.
