Obituary Tony Crease

February 25, 2021

Today’s Daily Telegraph carries a fairly extensive obit of TC for those interested. It is quite an honour for the DT to print your obituary, they are very selective as to whom they chose. The obit is probably accessible via DT on line.
Just thought members might be interested. Stay safe everyone.

Obituary Tony Crease

Thanks for that David, just got it on line - it's MUCH more than HHQ ( indeed the Regiment) did in remembering a guy with such a successful career. I know his family / friends asked for privacy regarding his passing, but the DT must have got their information from somewhere, so why did those friends / family not share it with those that served with him (who don't get the DT !!) ? Anyway, Rest In Peace TC, you'll  be long remembered,  for a great many reasons. John (JKW)

I thought at first it might have been HHQ but then I thought had that been so they would have sent something out to tell us. The obituary was professionally written and very accurate so someone who knew him well supplied the information. The  Colonel of the Regiment might well have instigated it, great supporter of the Ps&Ds and TC AND he was known to do such things. I thought the obituary very fitting given Tony’s ( almost) lifelong dedication to the Regiment followed by his bird sanctuary work. Stay safe. David.
