Racism ?

November 26, 2020

As I've said before, I am NOT racist, judging people by their attitude & not their colour or religion. However, I saw today a poll on Sky that wants to find the winner of the "best black footballer who has contributed most..." etc . To the best of my knowledge Sky have NEVER conducted a poll for "the best white footballer" etc, so surely that is racism on their part ? Sky  seem besotted with furthering the BLM subject, whilst ,in my opinion, most are getting a bit fed up with the constant harping on about it all. Taking "the knee" at every football match is now OTT as well IMO, plus the raised black fist is yet another racist symbol I reckon. Footballers stood in silence for one minute when Churchill died, yet we've had months of taking the knee since the criminal Floyd was killed by the US policeman, in a show of solidarity for the BLM - ALL lives matter, not just black ones, and the "playing field" needs to be levelled again because it's sloping down to one side. John yes the Sky/BBC  with their leftist preaching,so much so the Brussels Broadcasting Corporation has one of lowest watching audiences on what used to be popular television,ie Question Time. Yes we don’t need racism, all people are EQUAL but when your audience is 85% of the population you have be non committed giving a balanced view to all not favouring one side or the other .

I seem to remember the coloured lads we had in the regiment, they were treated no different from everyone else, in fact I don't remember regarding them as any different, they were just part of our regiment. When I was growing up in Wallasey we didn't really see many, you did come in contact with them if you went over to Liverpool and also when I was in the Merchant, never thought about them being different, always had a good laugh with them. The problem was the creation of the 'Race Relations Board' when were told we are a load of racists and it was made a crime to discuss the topic in public, it has now created a society of 'Entitled Coloureds' mixed in with 'Liberal - Left Wing who consider any attempted discussion on the subject to be 'Racist', all it does is drive people to object to this treatment. I'm not a racist, but I do object to people gaining an advantage because they are coloured, I believe you should progress through life and work on how good you are, not what colour you are!!
