A Returning visit

After serving for 12 years on the Children's Panel I am now an Independent Prison Monitor. I cover HMP Perth & HMP Castle Huntly (Open Prison).
I enjoyed reading David Fullard's views on the current Army and I couldn't agree more. I don't care what they wear, do or don't do. I did my 36 years and enjoyed it but I make no comment about the current Army. My son, David, is a WO1 in the Reserves having completed 24 years regular service in the AAC.
I'm also a Caseworker for SSAFA just to fill in idle moments.
We are looking forward to 5 days in Arran to celebrate my 80th in July.
I'll make an effort and look on this site more frequently.

I had a meet up on line with your niece Angela recently. I enjoyed sharing some of my exploits with Jimmie from our Münster days. The last time I saw you was in Sennelager if you recall…circa 1991 ( ish). I was running the BAOR UPOs course there.
Anyway, we really do need some more contributors on the site to keep it going so you will always find a warm welcome here.
