Annoying REMFs
Quote from Cliff_C on January 5, 2024, 10:26 pmMy brother in law was a REMF and it really was annoying. He was a SNCO in the RAOC. I called him a blanket stacker, its logistics nowdays. The annoying was that he always had the latest kit. I visited once and he was in his garden doing odd jobs and wearing a brand new pair of the latest fire retardant tankie coveralls and we hadnt even heard of them.
Another ex-blanket stacker I worked with in civvie street, gave me three, yes three prismatic compasses . They are in my shed still covered in press paper. He also had a pair of thermal image binoculars (I never got those) and this was in 1990. He had MFO boxes of kit.
