The future, under Starmer/Raynor looks even bleaker.Sunak has set the economy on the road to recovery, he has successfully tackled inflation and given workers a 2% tax cut. . He has failed on immigration abysmally. He has failed on defence abysmally in the face of an ever growing threat from Russia. He has failed on the NHS. Labour will do no better in my opinion, their notoriety in financial ineptitude precedes them.

On Tuesday midday I dropped a parcel off at the local corner shop who are agents for UPS bound for the South of France. The next morning it was out for delivery having travelled via Stansted airport. I wonder how Royal Mail would have coped with it?
Something to look forward to. Had a letter from Dept of work and pensions informing me I am now to receive age related pension increase as I approach 80! Sadly the increase is 25p per week so probably costs more to administer.

Do not forget the Mayor of London Mr Sadiq Khan who extracts £12.50 from me when I visit London albeit less frequently these days. I seem to remember that at one time diesel was considered the cleanest of fuels but look at us now!
