Quote from jkwebster06 on January 9, 2026, 3:08 pmA nicer guy you could ever wish to meet, Denis ("Bunny") Thubron was a great guy and I never heard a bad word ever said against him. Did all the jobs from Troop Sgt on tanks to Provo Sgt , and his brother "Big Bunny" as RQMS looking on! Was never fazed by having his more senior brother in the shadows, they got on with their own tasks & careers in the most professional of ways, big Bunny retiring years before Denis.
How I miss his ready smile, which would light up any room - his gleaming white teeth only rivalled by Bobby Firmino's, he of Liverpool fame ! You're now gone Denis, but I know you will not be forgotten - Rest In Peace my friend, you deserve a decent afterlife.
